Dr. Olga Ensz is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Florida College of Dentistry Department of Community Dentistry and Behavioral Science. Dr. Ensz graduated from the University of Florida (UF) with her B.S. in Nutrition, her D.M.D. degree, and a Master of Public Health degree. She is currently pursuing a residency in Dental Public Health at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ensz has a strong passion for dental public health and interprofessional education. Dr. Ensz serves as the college’s primary representative on the UF Health Sciences Center Interprofessional Education Committee. She also oversees her department’s community-based dental outreach programs for pediatric patients at high-risk for oral health problems.

Lightning Talk Description:  Description: This Lightning Talk will describe an innovative interprofessional educational session with second year dental students and third year occupational therapy doctorate students. Students collaborated in a variety of activities to develop strategies to positively enhance the dental visit experience for individuals across the lifespan with sensory sensitivities or chronic pain.
