What's included in registration?

Nexus Summit 2023 will take place virtually over five days in September. All registrations include access to live and asynchronous content, access to recordings of plenaries and peer-reviewed content, and Jointly Accredited Interprofessional Continuing Education credits for live content, based upon verification of attendance.

Registration after September 14, 2023:

Online registration has closed. You may still register by filling out this form to request an invoice. Invoice payments can be made by check or credit card once the invoice has been issued. Please allow up to two weeks for invoices to be issued. By filling out the form above, you are registering for the conference and will receive a welcome email within 24 hours.

*The AIHC & CIHC member discount code is only applicable to the $475 "Summit Registration (Professional)" option -- NOT the $575 "AIHC Professional Registration Package". The AIHC discount code can be found when logged in to the Member Area of the AIHC website. Your AIHC membership must be current in order to use the discount code for $50 off of your registration. Individuals with expired memberships can renew their membership and receive $50 savings by selecting the "AIHC Professional Registration Package" for $575. **Student registrants will be required to upload proof of enrollment (e.g. student ID, enrollment confirmation, etc.) in order to register for the student rate. Please have this documentation ready upon registration. Any questions can be sent to nexusreg@umn.edu.

  • AIHC Student Registration Package: Nexus Summit registration is $40 for students joining or renewing their AIHC Student Membership. The $40 package includes a Standard Registration (Student) registration and an annual membership for July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024.

Interprofessional Continuing Education Credit

In support of improving patient care, this activity is being planned and implemented by the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education Office of Interprofessional Continuing Professional Development (National Center OICPD). The National Center OICPD is Jointly Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program, and the Athletic Training Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Our intent is to provide accreditation ACCME, ANCC, ACPE, ASWB, BOC and Interprofessional Continuing Education Credit for the Plenaries, Seminars and Lightning Talks at the Nexus Summit 2023. Presenters will be required to comply with all Joint Accreditation guidelines, disclose all financial relationships, and work with the National Center to mitigate all conflicts of interest prior to the Nexus Summit 2023. Draft or final Seminar and Lightning Talk PowerPoint presentations will be required to be submitted no less than three weeks prior to the Nexus Summit 2023 for accreditation and presentation.

 

 


Terms and Conditions

Registration Deadlines: Registration will be open through 11:59 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, September 14, 2023.

Transfers: If you registered but cannot attend the Nexus Summit 2023, you can transfer your registration to a friend or colleague. Requests for transfers must be made in writing to nexusreg@umn.edu by Thursday, September 14, 2023. Please allow two business days for transfer processing.

Cancellations: Requests for refunds must be received in writing by the National Center at nexusreg@umn.edu by August 23, 2023 to receive a 50% registration fee refund. No refunds will be issued after August 23, 2023. Please allow three business days for our reply, and up to 30 days for your refund to be fully processed. Because all sessions at the virtual-only conference will be recorded and made available to attendees, no refunds will be issued to no-shows, cancellations, or attendees who register after August 23, 2023.

In the unlikely event that this conference is canceled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be fully refunded registration fees.

 

Use of photographic likeness release:
Participants of the Nexus Summit authorize the Regents of the University of Minnesota (the “University”) and its agents to record photographs or other portraits or likenesses of me on videotape, audiotape, film, photograph or any other medium and use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and publicly exhibit such recordings, in whole or in part, without restrictions or limitation for any purpose that the University deems appropriate.  I further consent to the use of my name, voice and biographical material in connection with such recordings.

Participants release the University, its successors and assigns, agents, and all persons for whom it is acting from any liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the recording process, or any unintentional misspellings or inaccuracies and waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the finished recordings.
