Lior Flum is an instructional designer with over 10 years of experience in the field and holds MA and EdS degrees in instructional design. Lior leverages his background in cultural anthropology (MA) to design, develop, and research learning experiences in higher education. Lior is particularly interested in design-based research and in the design and research of instructional strategies for facilitating reflective learning.

This Lightning Talk will describe an innovative interprofessional educational session with second year dental students and third year occupational therapy doctorate students. Students collaborated in a variety of activities to develop strategies to positively enhance the dental visit experience for individuals across the lifespan with sensory sensitivities or chronic pain.
