Kira Rodriguez is a Senior Research Associate with the University of New England's (UNE) Center for Excellence in Public Health. Ms. Rodriguez currently is the lead evaluator for the Center for Excellence in Collaborative Education at UNE and two HRSA funded health workforce programs: the Maine Area Health Education Center (AHEC) and the Maine Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) training programs. She received her BA in Psychology from Brown University and her Master of Health Science (MHS) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Lightning Talk Description: Interprofessional researchers are working steadily to advance evidence linking the impact of interprofessional education (IPE) on collaborative, person-centered, clinical practice and the ways practice needs shape health professions education requirements.
