Kerry Dhakal, MAA, MLS is an Associate Professor and Research and Education Librarian at the Health Sciences Library at The Ohio State University (OSU). She teaches evidence-based practice education, research literacy and writing for publication workshops to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center clinicians and OSU College of Nursing faculty/staff/students. She is an expert searcher, particularly in developing search strategies for systematic literature reviews. She leads the Interprofessional Education (IPE) strategic plan working group at the Health Sciences Library, developing online IPE resources for the OSUWMC community and reaching out to IPE instructors to ensure they are aware of available resources.

Seminar Description: To generate new knowledge in interprofessional practice and education (IPE), it is essential that researchers understand the body of existing work. This understanding of what is already known allows researchers to develop questions that are meaningful and have the capacity to create new knowledge.
