Ibriana Garvey is an ORISE research fellow for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In her previous role, she served as a clinical research coordinator in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. She completed her Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences at Temple University and her Bachelor of Biobehavioral Health at Pennsylvania State University. Ibriana considers herself a preventative health and wellness enthusiast. She has an unyielding passion for research in women's sexual and reproductive health, focusing on Black women and health disparities.
