Damien Gietzen, OD, FPIVR: Dr. Gietzen is an associate at Excel Neuro-Optometric Clinic. He completed the NIH funded RJ Apell/C Nelson Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation fellowship focused on the neuro-optometric treatment of visual spatial processing dysfunction. He is currently one of a few optometrists completing their fellowship for the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) focusing on interprofessional collaboration in brain injury rehabilitation. His clinical interests include traumatic and acquired brain injuries, neuro-degenerative disorders, visual midline shift syndrome, and neuro-visual postural therapy.
