Ziemowit Mazur, PhD, EdM, PA-C, DFAAPA, is an Associate Professor and Associate Director for the Rosalind Franklin University Physician Assistant (PA) Program. Dr. Mazur is a family and internal medicine PA and practices as a volunteer at a pro bono clinic that serves the uninsured population within the Lake County community. Dr. Mazur is a recipient of the prestigious Don Pederson Research Grant from the PA Education Association (PAEA) and the William H. Marquardt Community Health Access Fellowship. He has authored several peer-reviewed articles and chapters in medical textbooks and speaks regularly at national and international seminars.

Lightning Talk Description: Description of a team-based approach initiative for hypertension and cholesterol control between a mentor (Interprofessional Federally Qualified Health Center) and a mentee (pro-bono, student-initiated Interprofessional Community Clinic (ICC)).
