Whitney Sternfels is a third-year medical student at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Louisiana State University. She has conducted research in the fields of dermatology, medicine, and gynecologic oncology. She is passionate about community service and mentorship. Background: Interprofessional Education (IPE) is resource intensive. Based upon institutional resources, IPE can be challenging to develop, implement, and assess. To address these issues, the Louisiana Interprofessional Consortium held a statewide IPE event. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the event to identify its strengths and weaknesses for future IPE events.
