Victoria Haneman currently serves as the Frank J. Kellegher Professor of Trusts & Estates at Creighton University School of Law. She teaches courses addressing various aspects of taxation, wills, trusts and estates, and business associations. She has co-authored four books and her scholarship focuses on the death services industry, where she is a regularly engaged expert for PBS NewsHour, National Public Radio, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Wired, Forbes, and Fox Business.

Background/Purpose: Lawyers and financial planners are more often sought for estate directives than primary care providers for end-of life planning. A comprehensive, interprofessional approach to advance care planning (ACP) addressing medical and non-medical decision-making for aging adults is needed.
