Sherry Johnson has worked in simulation for 22 years. She has a BSE in Education. The first 10 years were in the Clinical Skills Center involving SPs in educational events and high stakes exams. The last 12 years as a Healthcare Simulation Educator in the Simulation Center. She received her CHSE in 2013 and has been a member of SSH since 2011. She completed the Institute for Medical Simulation Course in 2011 in Cambridge, MA. She is responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting events as well as recruiting and training simulated patients. She participates in Education Research

Lightning Talk Description: Interprofessional healthcare providers’ understanding of health literacy is crucial to improve patient health and reduce disparities.
