Dr. Sharla King is a Professor and Program Director for the Master of Education in Health Sciences Education program in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. Dr. King is the Program Director for the Master of Health Sciences Education program, a graduate program for health professionals interested in enhancing their scholarship in teaching and learning. Dr. King has worked in the area of interprofessional education and research at the University for over 20 years. Her research interests relate to interprofessional education and collaborative practice in pre-licensure and continuing education, blended and online learning.
