Sarah is an accelerated post-baccalaureate BSN student in the Career Alternative RN Education program in the School of Nursing at LSUHSC. Her current interest in interprofessional (IP) education is to develop a foundation for team-based approaches for her future patient care. She does so by relying on the pillars of the LSUHSC IP Scholars program, which fosters IP learning through different projects and modalities. Her education, clinical experiences, and extracurricular activities all provide opportunities to enhance and improve these skills.

Seminar Description: With rapid changing healthcare and the increase in need of collaborative practice, education needs to adapt to meet these new changes.
