Sarah Aleman is a second-year medical student at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) in New Orleans, Louisiana. Throughout the 2022-2023 school year, she was the director of a student-run organization titled Krewe du Flu that allows interprofessional membership from all of LSUHSC's six professional schools. She coordinated volunteer events, worked amonst the other officers, and fostered an environment for productive interprofessional communication between students at LSUHSC.
