Samrat Das is an associate professor of pediatrics in the Division of Hospital Medicine and the director of undergraduate medical education in pediatrics at Duke University School of Medicine. Samrat is also on the board of directors of FASEB and a past president of AFMR. He is passionate about medical education and inter professional education and loves to implement innovative curriculum. As program director and vice chair of pediatrics at University of Nevada Reno, Dr. Das made significant changes in his program and overall curriculum, resulting in the residency program being granted full accreditation and recognition by the ACGME.

Poster Description: Background: Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC)’s mission is to ensure that health professionals are proficient in competencies essential for patient-centered, community and population-oriented, interprofessional, collaborative practice.
