Rachel Klosko, PharmD, BCCP is an assistant clinical professor at the Binghamton School of Pharmacy and also serves as an inpatient cardiology pharmacy specialist at the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Klosko began her passion for working with rural and underserved patients in providing medication education for refugees at the University at Buffalo, and as a Columbus Free Clinic volunteer at The Ohio State University. As faculty at Binghamton University, she has worked with interprofessional colleagues in the The Rural and Underserved Service Track (TRUST), a co-curricular program providing interprofessional students experiences working with underserved patients.

Lightning Talk Description: People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are 2.5 times more likely to experience serious health issues when compared to people without disabilities (Voss et al., 2019).
