Dr. Padmavathy Ramaswamy, Assistant Professor has been a faculty in the Department of Graduate Studies of Cizik School of Nursing since 2016. She is a member of the Interprofessional Education (IPE) executive council. She actively coordinates and leads various IPE activities as a member of the Center of Interprofessional Collaboration (CIPC) at UT Health Science Center at Houston.
Her research focuses on use of mobile health and other technologies for health promotion and disease prevention, especially in older adults, and aging in-place. Her clinical experience of over 20 years as a Family nurse practitioner spans the age-spectrum.
