Over the last 30 years, Nicole Rouhana has passionately provided care for women and their families, both domestically and internationally. A graduate of the Nurse-Midwifery program at University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey, she is duly certified as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Rouhana’s career has focused on caring for women and their families in rural and vulnerable populations and improving health care outcomes among the underserved. Utilizing HRS funding she developed innovative methods preparing nurse practitioners to serve rural and underserved communities in New York State, while simultaneously supporting clinical preceptors using telehealth.
