Natalie Platt, MSW, LGSW is the Student Engagement Coordinator for CHIP at the University of Minnesota; she strives to bring her social work ethics and values to the world of higher education to make it more accessible, equitable, and welcoming to all. In addition, Natalie's background working in skilled nursing facilities throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area has taught her the value of interprofessional teamwork when it comes to improving patient care; she wants to encourage all future healthcare professionals entering the field to further develop this skill.

Lightning Talk Description: Each year, the CLARION Case Competition engages learners from across the country in interprofessional, team-based problem solving around an issue in healthcare practice and systems. The CLARION Board is a University of Minnesota student leadership group, supported by the Center for Health Interprofessional Programs(CHIP), that has guided and implemented the competition for over 20 years.
