Nannette Nicholson is the Director of Audiology at Norton Sound Health Corporation in Nome, Alaska. She previously held a faculty appointment as a professor at NSU and UAMS. Dr. Nicholson’s passion for interprofessional education and practice, patient and family-centered care, and evidence-based practice underpin her research endeavors. Current projects include shared lived experiences, early hearing detection and intervention, and teaching scholarship. She has over 100 presentations and publications and has been a consistent recipient of internal and external grants, including funding from the NIH, CDC, and HRS. The Patient and Family Engaged Care Interprofessional Education project was grant funded.
