Nancy K. Hernandez is the Senior Director of Academic Affairs in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. In this role, Ms. Hernandez oversees the assessment initiatives that include course evaluations, student learning outcomes and program reviews. In addition, Ms. Hernandez ensures that the GSBS remains in compliance with all federal, state, system and internal regulations and reporting. Ms. Hernandez has over 20 years of experience in higher education with over 10 years in institutional research and data analysis. Ms. Hernandez is dedicated to working with faculty and program directors in developing plans and devising strategies to continuously improve program performance.

Lightning Talk Description: This Lightning Talk will describe a key component of UT Health San Antonio’s commitment to advancing interprofessional education (IPE)—the Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration (LINC) Core IPE Measurement Plan. This university-wide project involved development, implementation, and analysis of a set of core IPE measures for all students at our university, with the explicit goal of embedding a standardized assessment/evaluation mechanism as an expectation for all schools to capture uniform IPE learning outcomes across campus.
