Graduated in Psychology from the Federal University of Bahia, Master's and PhD in Social Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. She was awarded a PhD scholarship (CNPq) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain, for one year. She has experience in the areas of Mental Health and Clinical Psychology, coordinates the Research Group "Ancestral Technologies of Care: intersections between knowledge and practices related to race, gender and social class". She is a professor of Psychology Graduation and Professional Master's Degree in Psychology and Health Interventions at the Bahiana School of Medicine and Public Health.
