Dr. Michael Zurek-Ost is a Post-Doctoral Associate in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Florida (UF). He is presently working on a project funded by the Department of Defense and has previously conducted work with NASA regarding aspects of teamwork for long-duration space exploration. Dr. Zurek-Ost has also served as a research assistant in the UF Office of Interprofessional Education.

Lightning Talk Description: Teamwork, an integral component of interprofessional (IP) collaboration, consists of multiple types of behaviors by a single individual. Teams create their own culture, with members holding shared behavioral norms and expectations.
