Dr. Hilmes has been a part of the Vanderbilt Program in Interprofessional Learning since 2015. She has served as a faculty coach, course director, and co-director of the program. She has served as a Capstone coach for several years, mentoring students as they design and implement an improvement project. She is an associate professor in the Dept of Radiology, division of pediatric radiology. Her most recent teaching award is the John S Sergent Award for Excellence in Teaching.
