As a faculty member in the School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, she is director of interprofessional education (IPE), serves on a university committee that manages IPE programs for the University, and provides patient consults in an interprofessional community health clinic. She is a member of the New Jersey Interagency Council on Osteoporosis for the State of New Jersey, Department of Health. Her scholarship involves IPE, policy change related to interprofessional clinical teams, and medications in patients with neurologic conditions. She has been an investigator/coinvestigator on 6 IPE grants that included 8 different health professional schools.

Interprofessional Student Poster Description: Background: Osteoporosis is a preventable metabolic bone disease that increases the risk of debilitating falls and fractures. Early screening is important to identify people at risk for osteoporosis and falls. We developed an Osteoporosis and Fall Risk Interprofessional Practice and Education (IPPE) Event where students can learn and perform a comprehensive screening.
