Mark Fitzgerald is Associate Dean for Community-Based Collaborative Care and Education and Professor of Dentistry, Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics, School of Dentistry at the University of Michigan. He is responsible for a community-based externship program providing 4th-year students 12 weeks of dental practice experience in 18 community-based clinics serving underserved populations across the state of Michigan and providing IPC opportunities in patient care. He also serves as a lead faculty at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, is a member of the U of M IPE Center Executive Committee, IOE Center Leadership Team, IPE Experiencial Committee, and chair of the U of M campus-wide IPE Core Curriculum Workgroup.

Poster Description: Objective: Patients’ evaluation of interprofessional healthcare teams is critical to understanding team-based care.
