Dr. Lorraine Stigar is a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Public Health at Purdue University. They earned their Doctor of Public Health in Public Health Leadership from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) where their research focused on health education, equity and inclusion, and access to LGBTQIA+ affirming care. They also acknowledge other dissertation committee members who supported this project: Alexandra Marshall, PhD, MPH, CPH, CHES and Clare Brown, PhD, MPH.

Lightning Talk Description: Although progress has been made in acceptance and treatment of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual Plus (LGBTQIA+) community, disparities still exist.
