Kristy Gauthier, RN, MS, CHSE, graduated with her Associate Degree in Nursing from Pacific Union College in 2003. She is a two-time alumna from the University of Utah, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 2007, and her Master of Science in Nursing Education Degree in 2018. Kristy currently oversees the Advanced Simulation Program for the University of Utah College of Nursing’s Baccalaureate Program. She is also a clinical nurse on the Burn Trauma Intensive Care Unit at University of Utah Health. Kristy is a Certified Health Care Simulation Educator and has experience facilitating simulation in both clinical and academic settings.

Seminar Description: Research supports using simulation to address clinical practice core competencies, including those for interprofessional collaboration in acute care settings. Developing simulations to effectively meet these competencies can be challenging and requires collaboration across specialties.
