Kerry DiNardo, MS, is the Simulation Programs Specialist at Thomas Jefferson University’s Center for Interprofessional Practice & Education (JCIPE). Kerry is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University and Cabrini University. Kerry works with faculty and students to plan, implement, and assess interprofessional simulation programs that focus on teamwork and communication skills through experiential learning.

Lightning Talk Description: Black women face higher mortality rates during childbirth due to factors such as provider dismissiveness and unnecessary interventions (Adams & Thomas, 2017; Bond et al., 2021).
