Dr. Kathryn Neill, PharmD, FNAP, CCMS, is the Associate Provost for Academics and Director of Interprofessional Administrative and Curricular Affairs for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Her expertise is in pulmonary/critical care medicine, interprofessional education, curriculum implementation, and accreditation. Dr. Neill chairs a team of more than 40 faculty to deliver a campus-wide interprofessional graduation requirement for 3000 students in 72 degree programs. The program is recognized as a Best Practice Exemplar by The Institute for Patients and Families and has received an award of Merit for Institutional Excellence and Innovation in IPE from the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professions (ASAHP).

Our report addresses a key issue in health equity, providing effective interprofessional education on health literacy.
