Karla S. Judge, DAT, LAT, ATC, recently finished her fourth year as the Coordinator of Clinical Education at Idaho State University. She has over 35 years of clinical work, primarily at the Div. I collegiate setting. She grew up in northwest Montana and participated in swimming, skiing, softball, volleyball, basketball, tap dancing, and cycling. Karla received my B.S in Health, Physical Education, and Dance, with an emphasis in Athletic Training and Adaptive Physical Education from the University of Montana, a M.S. in Athletic Training from Ohio University, a M.E in Athletic Administration from Idaho State University, and a D.A.T. from the University of Idaho.

Context: The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) 2020 Standards for Professional Programs highlight the need to further incorporate interprofessional education (IPE) components into the curricula for athletic training programs. IPE can be a challenging component to integrate into the curriculum on an ongoing and routine basis, especially when access, quantity, and quality of IPE resources are limited at individual universities.
