Dr. Julie Ossege is an Associate Professor teaching in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and currently practices at The Phyllis D. Corbitt Family and Community Health Center in Wilmore, KY where she sees patients both in person and via telehealth. Dr. Ossege recently completed a graduate certificate in Telehealth. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and was elected a Fellow in 2018. In2017, Julie was inducted into the National Academics of Practice as Distinguished Fellow-Practitioner.

Lightning Talk Description: Telepractice is a generic term that includes telehealth, teletherapy, teledentistry, telemedicine, telenursing, and telecare.
