John Tegzes is the Interim Dean in the College of Veterinary Medicine, and previously served as the Director of IPE at Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. He has been involved in the design and delivery of Interprofessional Education since 2007. His work also focuses on small group teaching/learning, and competency-based education.

Seminar Description: Health systems science (HSS) is gaining attention as health and social care systems increase in complexity. The American Medical Association (AMA) has framed HSS as an integral 3rd pillar complementing basic and clinical sciences in medical education to prepare learners for the realities of current practice.
