Jennifer Swails, MD is an internist, Residency Program Director and Co-director of Interprofessional Education at UT Health in Houston. She served as a member of the AAMC Core EPA pilot and the Coalition for Physician Accountability UME-GME Review Committee. Dr. Swails has received grants from the University of Texas system, SHINE foundation, and Josiah Macy foundation. She has won multiple teaching awards, including the McGovern Outstanding Teaching award, Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine award, and the Dupont Clinical Teaching award. Her work focuses on promoting teamwork and diversity across the UME-GME spectrum to improve wellness and patient care.
