Dr. Ballard is director of the University of Kentucky Center for Interprofessional and Community Health Education, associate professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, and immediate past chair of the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC). Dr. Ballard is a graduate in psychology from the University of Notre Dame and received a MS in Educational Psychology from the University of Kentucky and a Doctorate in Education at Northern Kentucky University with an emphasis on Interprofessional Education. He has training and background in medical education, educational psychology, experiential education, and interprofessional health professions education.
