Dr. Ayse Irem Sonmez, M.D., M.Sc., is an accomplished psychiatrist and researcher. As Chief Resident of Education at the University of Minnesota Medical School, she has received prestigious awards and honors. Dr. Sonmez has contributed to scientific journals and participated in renowned programs. She has made significant contributions to resident education, including developing a 13-session psychopharmacology course and a tailored curriculum for day float. Dr. Sonmez has also conducted practice sessions to enhance residents' teaching skills.
