After graduation, Dr. Duqum worked as a general dentist in Jordan for seven years, serving five years as a military dentist in the Royal Medical Services (RMS). He joined the UNC Adams School of Dentistry graduate prosthodontics program in 2005. Duqum is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and a member of numerous dental organizations. He was the recipient of the 2014 Richard Hunt Memorial Award for Teaching Excellence serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for multiple dental journals.

Lightning Talk Description: This interactive interprofessional activity demonstrates how health professionals work cooperatively to treat patients with a traumatic brain injury (TBI); helping students to understand a patient's journey from the moment of injury through the continuum of in-patient and outpatient care.
