Hugh A. Stoddard, M.Ed., Ph.D., is the Assistant Dean for Medical Education Research at Emory University School of Medicine and Professor in the Department of Medicine. Prior to joining Emory in 2013, he was Assistant Dean for Medical Education at University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Dr. Stoddard earned his Ph.D. in Administration, Curriculum, and Learning and his Master of Education from the University of Nebraska. He received his Bachelor of Arts from St. Olaf College, majoring in Philosophy and Anthropology. Prior to joining medical education, he was a high school teacher and coach in Nebraska, Saudi Arabia, and Colombia.
