Heather Miselis, MD, MPH, FAAFP, is a family physician providing inpatient and outpatient clinical care in Boston, MA. She is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Director of the Teamwork and Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice curriculum at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Working with partners at Boston University, Boston Medical Center and in the community, she builds innovative educational and clinical initiatives to provide opportunities for health professionals to collaboratively work together to advance health equity and improve health outcomes. As Principal Investigator of Boston University Community Health Alliance of Medical Professionals (BU CHAMPs), she developed, implemented and evaluated an interprofessional collaborative practice model in the primary care environment. Dr. Miselis serves as a Co-chair of the AIHC Student Engagement Working Group.
