Clara Godoy-Henderson, LSW, is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry. In this role, she oversees regulatory aspects of clinical trials, conducts diagnostic interviews, and ensures accurate and organized data entry. Currently she is pursuing a Master of Science at the University of Minnesota in Health Services Research, Policy, and Administration at the University of Minnesota. Through her research, community involvement, and commitment to social justice as a social worker Clara strives to make a positive impact on mental health in her community.

Objective: Recent events, including the case of a Somali patient impacted by the death of George Floyd, have motivated the authors to assess the current state of cultural humility among University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry residents in response to ongoing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the department.
