Christi Fenison is an immersive storyteller, 3D artist, 360 videographer and interactive simulation developer. She creates experiences that expand perspectives to inspire action - bringing big picture concepts to life via the careful interplay of meaningful details and key user touchpoints. As an Instructional Media Producer at UNC-CH School of Medicine, Christi leads XR development for curriculum. She authored the Trauma Services Patient Point-of-View VR simulation, to improve healthcare professionals’ understanding for patient perspectives, empathetic communication, and teamwork. Christi is also Co-Founder of Cause + Christi, creating bespoke large-scale 3D social VR events, including the UN ActNowVR digital twin series.

Lightning Talk Description: This interactive interprofessional activity demonstrates how health professionals work cooperatively to treat patients with a traumatic brain injury (TBI); helping students to understand a patient's journey from the moment of injury through the continuum of in-patient and outpatient care. Students from Athletic Training, Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, Dentistry, Education, Exercise Sports Science, Medicine, Nursing, and Speech and Hearing Sciences participated.
