Chasisty is an experienced education professional with knowledge and involvement that ranges from classroom pedagogy practice to higher education andragogy application. Chasisty is a full-time professional Education Coordinator at The University of Health Science Center of Texas-Houston. She loves the coordination and planning side that her administration role affords. She is able to assist in the creation of special simulated projects for professional students. She is also a full-time doctoral student at Texas Woman’s University, focusing on Education Leadership. Outside of work and school, Chasisty involves herself with her local Graduate Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,

Lightning Talk Description: Our Lightning talk will describe how health disparities and social determinants of health in underserved and marginalized populations in Texas can be addressed through telehealth by a group of interprofessional students.
