Dr. Carolyn Wiles Higdon is Professor, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and Clinical Associate Professor with UM Medical Center, The University of Mississippi. She is a Distinguished Scholar and Fellow, Speech-Language Pathology Academy with the National Academies of Practice and a member of the Council of Academic Programs of Communication Sciences and Disorders, International Association of Rehabilitation Practice, Mississippi Speech and Hearing Association, International Society of AAC, United States Society of AAC, and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She received a 2022 Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Contributions in International Achievement from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
