Carol Haggerty is an Associate Professor at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry. She has been a preceptor, director of seminars (ACT curriculum) and course director for 15 years. She has also participated in several major interprofessional initiatives that integrate the health professions on the UNC campus. Dr Haggerty graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with her BS, MS and DDS degrees and from the UNC Gillings School of Public Health with an MPH in Public Health Leadership. Her interests are in interprofessional education and collaboration, curriculum development , integrative clinical teaching and community outreach

Poster Description: Evaluations of interprofessional competencies of students in didactic activities often use self-assessment measurements or focus on the whole team rather than individual abilities. Methods to measure interprofessional competencies using objective observers that evaluate individual students are lacking.
