Caitlin Grant is a rising fourth year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine. She is one of the co-founders of Healthy STEPS, a community based clinic-community exercise program in Durham, North Carolina and the previous team leader. She plans to pursue a career in Orthopaedic Surgery following graduation.

Interprofessional Student Poster Description: Regular exercise has countless health benefits, but many patients face significant barriers to participation including environmental, motivational, and especially socioeconomic. Although dedicated exercise programs exist in Durham, North Carolina for children and seniors of lower socioeconomic status, there are limited initiatives for adults.
