Brittany DiSalvo, OTD, OTR/L is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy at Clarkson University with over 10 years of clinical experience grounded within the older adult population in working in multiple clinical settings including two travel therapy contracts. She currently maintains her clinical skills in the local community working in both acute care and outpatient settings. She is an active member of the IPE committee in supporting the efforts to promote interprofessional educational opportunities for graduate students throughout the didactic programs.

Lightning Talk Description: This lightning talk will describe the launching of formal, centralized interprofessional education (IPE) at Clarkson University through the adaptation and implementation of Team Care Planning (TCP). TCP is a simulated clinical discharge planning meeting where students experience working in an interprofessional team to plan the discharge of a patient from the hospital.
