Dr. Cross is the Assistant Vice Provost and Director of the Center for Interprofessional Collaboration at East Tennessee State University. He has 30 years of clinical experience in many varied clinical areas giving him a broad understanding of establishing collaborative/interprofessional services in many settings. He’s been awarded multiple teaching awards from colleges of pharmacy, nursing, and medicine. He has spoken on the connection between collaborative practice and learning/training at national and international meetings. He was a Fulbright Scholar with the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland focused on Interprofessional Learning.

Lightning Talk Description: A large Academic Health Science Center faces unique challenges in meeting the accreditation needs of 5 colleges housing 18 different programs, subspecialties, and concentrations some of which have exclusively online learners.
