Dr. Antiqua Smart is a board-certified family nurse practitioner/advanced public health nurse currently working full-time as an assistant professor at Loyola University New Orleans of Nursing in the graduate nursing programs. Dr. Smart serves as the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners Political Action Committee Co-Chair, Past Immediate Chair of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) Determinants of Health Special Interest Group (SIG), and Second Co-Chair of the NONPF Health Policy Education SIG. She is also a member of the Journal of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Editorial Advisory Board.
