Ann Curtis is a registered nurse and the Director of Interprofessional Education (IPE) at Maine College of Health Professions (MCHP) in Lewiston, Maine (US). She is committed to improving patient outcomes and healthcare team members' experiences through innovative, engaging, and evidence-based IPE. Leading a diverse team, Ann established the Gould Center for Interprofessional Education at MCHP where she creates and facilitates IPE for all MCHP students and as many other institution’s students as she can! Ann holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nursing Education Leadership from American Sentinel University.

Lightning Talk Description: This presentation will share how a healthcare college from the UK and one from the US collaborated to provide students with a pilot international interprofessional education experience. Using online conference technology, students collaborated on a case study and heard from a patient about her experience with the same diagnosis as the individual in the case study.
