Dr. Teigen is a PA with clinical experience in orthopedics and interventional radiology. She serves as Associate Program Director and Assistant Professor in the UAMS PA Program. She earned a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University, a M.M.S. in PA Studies from Saint Louis University, and a D.M.Sc. with a concentration in Health Professions Education from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Her expertise includes mindfulness, IPE, Lifestyle Medicine, and wellness. She is a certified Koru Mindfulness instructor and on the certification path for MBSR teacher. She co-facilitates wellness workshops and teaches Lifestyle Medicine at UAMS.
